CONDITIONS OF HIRE
1. Payment / Reservation
The booking form should be completed in detail and returned, together with a deposit of £100.00/150 EUROS. If the deposit is not received within 5 days of the initial booking, we will assume that you do not wish to proceed with the booking and the dates may be re-allocated without further notification. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. If the balance is not received 6 weeks prior to the holiday, we reserve the right to re-allocate the accommodation without further notification. Full amount is payable on bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival. As owners, we reserve the right to refuse any booking for whatever reason. Cheques should be payable to Mrs A White.
2. Changeover Day
The normal changeover day for the property is Saturday. However, depending on season and availability, this may be negotiable at the owners discretion - please ask at time of booking.
3. Arrival / Departure
The property will normally be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival until 10.00am on the day of departure. This may be negotiable at the owners discretion - please ask at time of booking.
4. Arrivals
Keys for the property are held at the offices of Vilamoura Villas, Vilarmoura. Directions of how to find Vilamoura Villas will be sent to you once the balance of the holiday is received.
5. Cancellations
Please note the deposit is non-refundable. However, the balance of your booking may be refunded if you are forced to cancel your holiday due to a) death (including that of a close relative), b) serious injury or illness to any member of your party. A qualified medical practitioner must verify these circumstances. Any cancellation must be in writing.
6. Liability
The use of facilities within the property and surrounding area is entirely at the users risk and the owner will under no circumstances be liable for loss or damage of any kind whatsoever to the personal property of the hirer, including their motor vehicles, jewellery, personal effects or any other valuables.
7. Breakages
All breakages should be reported to Vilamoura Villas. Damage and breakages are the responsibility of the hirer and such expense for replacement must be agreed between the hirer and Vilamoura Villas.
8. Accommodation
No more than 86 persons may occupy the property. Single sex parties or groups of unaccompanied persons under the age of 25 allowed at the owners discretion. The hirer is expected to take responsible care of the property and all the equipment and it should be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.
We do our best to provide the facilities as described but on occasions there may be unavoidable problems which we will try to solve to the best of our ability.
